But that would hurt. I can't get into LJ for some reason to see what's going on with various people on my list so hopefully [livejournal.com profile] thatkentuckyguy, [livejournal.com profile] mroctober and [livejournal.com profile] gizluvsmusic are having better days. If not then know I'm thinking about you guys. I suck at the whole online-friendship thing and never know quite what to say when people I liek are feeling down. Even in RL I have problems with that. I use humor as a coping mechanism myself so I usually react the wrong way. Ah well. I'm thinking of you guys.

------------------------

Going random now.

I got new CDs (free thank goodness) and I like two of them, the new Ute Lemper rocks in so many German cabaret-ey ways. Whe wrote some of the tracks herself and they sound very Weil-like. The Best of Bond CD is always good, Bond themes are usually so fun.

Then there's James Taylor. Why did I choose this one? He's a whiny bitch. His tone of voice not his songs, I like versions of his songs, just covered by others. His voice grates. I'm bringin it back and getting Bering Strait. Russian Bluegrass is cool.

-----------------------------

The move. I found out today that acouple of other supervisors are thinking of making the move so I held off on calling the apartment places until I know what's going on. Do I just rent a romm somewhere (cheapest, big time) or do I wait and see if we can get a three bedroom for a reasonable price? I should actually look into that.

-------------------------------

Had a mini movie marathon when I got home today, Pleasantville, The Craft and Mr. Holland's Opus. Three fun films.

Hopefully this posts.

It posted! LJ's being an ass to everyone tonight I think. And thank you, I am doing a lot better. *nods* I vented and got it over with, and then started doing quizzes to distract myself with random inanity. *grins* Works pretty good.

I think we've probably got a lot in common on the coping thing, cause I usually either don't know what to say or try and make it better with a joke and just make things worse. *wry grin* I seem to have an odd sense of humor. lol

And yes, great movies! *grins* Sounds like a nice way to spend an afternoon.

I abase myself at thy feet.

I'm sorry he just has that high-nasally thing going on, it annoys me.

On a side note, we sepent the morning listening to Bill Withers, the Everly Brothers and Barry White. Was a very smooth day. I threw some Etta James, Dar Williams and Caroel King for balance.

Except for "Die Another Day" because... no.

Mr. Holland's Opus.

That one makes me cry like a baby every time.

Now I go back to watch Cher.
