I have lost all my footage.

7 Gigs worth of SBD footage. Makings of, interviews, music videos, live stuff, Atlantis, Xmas, NSYNC, BSB, Degrees.

It's all gone.

On a good note, so are the damn virusi. Viruses. Whatever.

Thank god the pictures aren't gone. I routinely save those directly to a CD-RW disc. The songs all got downloaded onto discs a few weeks agowhen I bought an MP3 player (which is damn fun) except for a couple of new thingswhich are no real big deal.

But the footage! I almost cried when I saw that. OK. Not really, I never cry over shit like that. I did get royally pissed off and may have sworn like a sailor. This is one of those times I wished I remembered how to swear like I did in High School. English, German, Spanish, French, Japanese and Russian. Now I'm pretty much down to English and a little german and Spanish.

Fuck. It's going to take me months to find this stuff again.

Stay away from Kazaa!! That shit is evil, it's where the damn viri came from.

WinMX doesn't have quite as good of a database as Kazaa, but it is spyware-free and I've never gotten a virus from it.

Kazaa lite is muchly of the good.

Exactly the same database as Kazaa. But, without all the spyware.
