All you Harry Potter fans/authors/artists out there. I have about 15 stickers to give away, they are promotional ones we got in at work that I snagged. Click on the link to see it. The actual sticker is about two-thirds the size shown and the white background is clear.

this is it

If you want one (or a couple) shoot me your address (owlknight68@yahoo.com) and I'll get 'em out to ya.
[livejournal.com profile] stormwynd, I've already set one aside for you to go with the Romanovsky & Phillips CD and a couple other HP things I snagged.

Someday I will figure out how to post an image without the whole having to link the whole page.

Thank you! *hugs*

I was at the local Borders earlier tonight and thought of you. I went there to listen to what turned out to be some dreadful folk music but also took the opportunity to pump the Very Cute Guy at the Information Desk for details on what's happening there at the OotP midnight release party. According to Very Cute Guy, not much. Phooey. Delaware fandom is lame. >.

It's not just Delaware, we are planning next to nothing. Drinks, candy, that's it. The Fire Marshall is expected to show as we will have almost 1500 reservations and we expect at least 800 people to come through that night. Probably more as the guaranteed hold period is for only that weekend.

It's going to be a complete and total madhouse and I am praying that I work it as it's always fun to see the manager's stress out. Some of us are used to mass amounts of humanity all clamoring for their purchase NOW. I used to be a cashier on Main Street at Disneyland and when four gamillion people all troop through your shop just before closing you can handle anything.

I, meanwhile, will have had the book read by that night as it is one of the perks of working in a bookstore that we get first crack at new titles. Depending on when it comes in I may just show up a few hours early to read it.

About Linking Images...

...try using something like a free Geocities (Yahoo) website.

Then put up your image using their 'File Manager' upload. Rename the image to have a 'txt' extension. Then create your image tag as always (including the width, height and alt info), but link the newly named file (name.txt).

Most free sites will work this way, by the by. They 'monitor' any linking that's to a jpg or gif--but not text files!

Hope that helps some...
