I am out of time and must get ready for work, have spent the last three housr on skip=400 (fuckity!) and have realized that I really should have been on skip 700, but no.

So...

The AFI 100 meme thingy, not gonna post it, let's just say that I have only NOT seen three of them: Citizen Kane, Goodfellas and Schindler's List (which, strangely enogh, I actually owned for two years and never watched).

The other 100 best book one? I have managed to avoid fully a third of them as I always felt annoyed having to read the "classics" because they were classics and I was supposed to have read them. I freely admit I have never, and never will, read To Kill A Mockingbird. No desire to and since most of the people at work make a huge BIG deal out of it I have dug in my heels and have chosen to make fun of every single one ofthem who have never seen the ORIGINAL cut of Star Wars (Han shot first dammit!), any of the Schoolhouse Rock cartoons or the Looney Tunes stuff from the forties and fifties.

Ooh, and [livejournal.com profile] hurricanemegan is contemplating starting a Summer Reading Book Exchange. I fully support this. Go, join us.

And there is footgae of JC with his flky down? How do I find this?

Buffy Season 4 comes out on DVD in June.

I have managed to avoid all Yu-Gi-Oh (and Pokemon) products except for having to move the stuff around at work. I am happy with that.

Having said that I admit to a liking of the first few seasons of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. The Green Ranger was just hot.

i guiltily admit to liking Power Rangers, too. and now i see exactly how awful that show was. and i also admit to having a crush on one of the Rangers, too, but i shant mention who because i'm far too embarrassed.but the sad, sad thing is that i can remember i think all of their names, what colors they wore, what ethnicity they were, and the names of some of their foes. sad, sad, sad.

i do, however, like Pokemon. i'm a huge strategy game fan, i like the cool games that make ya think. plus there's cute creatures and i'm a sucker for cute creatures. as is evident by my large stuffed animal collection.

Point of information: are the original theatrical releases of Star Wars, Empire, and Jedi available any more? I remember reading somewherre that George Lucas considers the Special Editions the "official" versions and has "retired" the originals permanently. >.

Nope. They are no more. I happen to own copies that I am afraid will get worse and worse. On VHS. And when he releases the DVDs they won't even be included as extras.

I was so hoping for both versions as a collector's set.

Lucas sucks. The new trilogy (while excellent eyecandy) also sucks.

I am one with suckage. No I'm not, Lucas is one with suckage, I just suck well.

Did I just say that out loud?

Arrgh. Lucas is an idiot. Doesn't he realize that the theatrical versions are, if nothing else, historically important and should be preserved in some way?

And yes, you just said that out loud. But it's nothing to be ashamed of. ^_~

JC with his fly down! Yes! I have this footage. I bought it off a site somewhere. Try NSYNCland maybe?

He's such the perfect goober. It's during their last Euro concert (the "Girl Who Has Everything" tour) when they come out to perform "I Need Love." The band starts playing "Quit Playin' Games" first and they all crack up and sing along a bit. JC twirls around and falls over. I suspect that's when his pants ripped.

Anyway, they bop around to QPG and then start performing INL. JC's pants are WIDE OPEN and he's bopping around, being bouncy. No clue on that boy. Justin finally pulls him over and whispers frantically in his ear. JC shuffles out of the camera view then, presumably to fix his pants. Justin has to sing JC's lead and he snort giggles and changes the lyrics from "I'll give you all the love you need" (or whatever) to "JC'll give you all the..." cuteness!

So JC comes back and...the pants are STILL OPEN. I'm assuming the rip was irreparable or something so he just soldiered on. Now, most people faced with that situation would stand stiffly with their arms by their sides so their shirt would cover their embarrassing rip. JC? oh no. That boy bounces ALL OVER the freaking stage, no apparent concern at all.

::sigh:: love him.

Sadly, my footage is not the most clear thing ever filmed, so I can see no ::cough:: "details", ifyouknowwhatimean. Just the white or very light colored underpants showing in the gaping hole that was once his fly.

BTW. I should mention that this piece of footage comes attached to a very long vid that includes the infamous "Justin is the basketball hoop" game that features the infamous "someone's touching my butt!" dogpile. It includes the infamous "ass shaking" dance break featuring "Chris lays face down on Justin while Lance lays face down on Joey" for part of it. It includes...I could go on, but I think you get the idea. I. adore. this. vid.

And I have never known this existed.

Oh the deprived humanity of it all.

Will be lurking around NSYNCland to find it.
