lincolnkwFor the last few days I've been listening to the new cast recording of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, even been caught singing along to the songs (on Main St. no less!) while walking home.
I've decided that, if I ever win the lottery, I am going to back a one weekend only concert of the show called Pop Goes Rocky Horror. Have the majority of proceeds go to the charitable orginization chosen by the cast.
Brad: Nick Carter
Janet: Jessica Simpson
Narrator: Kevin Richardson
Columbia: Beyonce
Magenta: Christina Aguilera
Riff Raff: AJ MacLean (Maclean?, I can never remember which it is)
Rocky: Jeff Timmons
Eddie: Joey Fatone
Dr. Scott: Chris Kirkpatrick
Frank N Furter: JC Chasez
Transylvanians: the rest of the guys, with Brit, Pink, & Destiny's Child
I figure if we can convince JC to do the show in drag then we can get the rest of them to. Nick in his tighty-wightys, Jeff in a gold speedo and so forth.
Of, course there would have to be a follow up called Pop Goes Little Shop using the show The Little Shop of Horrors.

This really needs to be a trilogy but I can't think of another show that might work.
