No, not real life, Real World. The TV show.

How many people in the house? How long do they film? How many episodes?

I have an idea that may result in something.

Assistance please??

Seven people in the house.

(I think) seven months of filming. I remember Frank once saying that he had a tough time readjusting to real life after the show wrapped because he had spent seven months doing nothing but sleeping, eating, working out, and partying.

28 episodes.

The frightening thing is that I'm not even a RW fan, but I knew all this stuff anyway.

Frank? You know one of these people?? Or is this from a show? Spill? I'm all curious.

I've only ever seen three and a half seasons I think. First NY, San Fran, New Orleans, and then bits of London, Boston, LA & HI.

I found the concept EXTREMELY intriguing at the beginning. Now it's no longer "rel;ity" TV it's a stepping stome to a career in entertainment. Basically one long drawn out audition.

That was from an interview I saw on TV. Don't remember exactly what it was about, though.

The funny thing is, it doesn't seem to be a very good stepping stone. How many reality TV show participants have gone on to have full-fledged careers in the entertainment industry? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

**sound of crickets chirping**

There does seem to be "reality show contestant" career track, though -- basically, people become known through reality TV and then continue to be known and get work within that universe. Dan Renzi is the one who comes to mind most quickly, but I think there are others too.

there are 7 people in the house *though there have been known to have a fight that would involve one getting kicked off the show and POSSIBY someone taking their place it's up to the people i guess.*

7 months is right and they just film EVERYTHING and then go back and cut and edit stuff. nad i really think the number of episodes depends on the stuff they have that they can USE... but i dunno MTV.com should tell you how many episodes...
