I have this CD. It's part of the Capitol Sings series. Compilations of artists frm the 50s & 60s on themed discs. Cole Porter. Haogy Charmichael. Sammy Cahn. etc.

This one is Small Fry: Capitol Sings Kids' Songs for Grown-ups.

I love this.

Three Little Fishies by Kay Kyser
The teddy Bears' Picnic by Frank de Vol
Swinging On A Star by the Four Freshmen

Among MANY others. I haven't heard these songs since I was tiny! Every one ofthese was recorded before I was born ,there's Disney stuff on here. it's just...SQUEEE!!

Am goingto have to listento Disney compilation CDs next, feeling very nostalgic.

I actually don't have the origina lpic, someone made the icon and let me adopt it. Unfortunately I suck at remembering things so I have no idea who. BUT I do know it's a cap from the movie Zoolander, if that helps.

I'll ask around.

Isn't it amazing how childhood memories can come back like that? For me, the biggest trigger is "Bear Necessities" from The Jungle Book. I used to march around the house when I was little singing that song over and over again. And when I think about it, I probably had a crush on Mowgli.

Heh, my Disney song was "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" from Mary Poppins. My parents hated that song yet they bought me the record. Suckers.

That and Iremember being a climber, if it was there I would find my way to it's highest height. That includes the radio tower on my dad's ship, the refirigerator, the roof of the house when I was 8, trees, my dad once and other stuff. That faded when I reached 10 or so.
