Remember Barney? It's another show very similar.

The main characters were guaranteed to give little kids nightmares. Two seven foot tall bananas wearing pajamas. And big goofy grins. I want to say it was an Aussie or Brit import as I remember them having some kind of accent. But that could be wrong.

Frightening. Damn catchy theme song.
