As a native Minnesotan, please accept my apologies for my home state's voting quirks. Please bear in mind that we also supported Walter Mondale for President in 1984 and elected Jesse Ventura as governor. But at least, as eleanor_lavish pointed out, the guy is getting soundly trompled for his remarks.
In a related note, the article you linked to mentioned a gay-themed show at the Holocaust Museum. I'll have to take the train down to DC to check it out. I'm glad -- it really bummed me out when the museum opened that there was next to nothing about gays in the permanent exhibit.
