Flu sucks.

I went home sick yesterday and then proceeded to sleep for 12 hours.

Nyquil is sleepy goodness.

Would stay home today but there's too much to do and I don't have the staff to do it with, so sucking it up and in to work I will go.

I want digital listening at my store!! That stuff rocks! Why, oh why, won't they retrofit us with digital? Customers aren't likely to buy something they don't know anything about if they can't preview it. I know I'm certainly leery about doing so. But then, I can open pretty much anything and preview it in back. I'm special that way.

Yep, abuse of power is good.

And isn't it sadthat one of the lines from one of my favorite films is: "Do you wonder, I wonder, if I ever slept with your father?"
Although my favorite line is really: "I rode bare-breasted to Damascus, Louis almost had a heart attack and I damn near died of windburn. But the troops were dazzled."

Ooh! and: "Not now dear, your father and I are fighting."

Aw, hell. Y'all are making me jones to see it RGHT NOW. And I can't because I have a spa appointment (woo!). I'm gonna have to make some time this weekend to view it again. It'd be a good Sunday afternoon project.

Oh God. the first time I heard the great Kate Hepburn say thay line I almost had a heart attack. I couldn't believe it. I was like 16 at the time. Today I know she was a salty old broad.

Love that movie. The guy who played Jeffrey was extremely attractive.

The power plays in that movie just enthralled me.

It rarely works, but it's an idea with merit, I think.
