Sparklecon and Disney

So I am going to Sparklecon. That's a definite. I shall be rooming with hurricanemegan whom I haven't seen since JC's show in Boston. We are looking for a couple of others to share with us - so if you're interested let one of us know.

I am also planning on staying on an extra four days to to experience all four theme parks for the VERY FIRST TIME!!! Anyone want to come with, as I don't particularly want to go by myself - that's just ooky and to save on hotel cost.

Anyone? Charlie? Lex? KC? Bueller?

Charlie and I are already bonded but we can probably be talked into bunking in with you guys. Lex is away [in Orlando, funnily enough] but I'll ask her about sharing in with us as well. 5 won't be bad, we can get a rollaway or something.

As to staying at the parks. When exactly do you plan onn staying? Previously or post? I'd love to stay and help you with your first time! We might be able to talk Charlie into an extra day as well. I haven't had the chance to do Disney with a decent sized group in a while, should be fun!

Sounds good, on all counts. I can definitely be talked into staying for a couple of extra days, weekend trips are always a pain (I just get used to the time change and I'm back at Heathrow thinking "uh... what day is it? What the heck happened to Monday? Who stole my Monday?!") and, you know, Disney! And you guys! And Florida! Oh my.

I'm looking at flights (and buses to Boston) so the earliest I could get to the airport in Orlando would be 6ish. Check in is at 3pm does that cause a problem?

Megan has the info for reserving the room and I was going to do that either this Friday (depending on the size of my bonus) or in two weeks.

reserving through Missy and the Sparklecon discount, yes? And no. It won't. Whoever's name is on the reservation should add in the rest of the names [there is an additional person fee, I believe 15$ a night] and then make sure it's booked with a late check in. Everyone else can drop their luggage off anytime that day. Closer to time we'll have to make meet up arrangements and all, but for now that should do.

Having any luck finding decent flights?

well, the con is Oct 19-22, I was planning Disneyworld for Monday 10/23 to Thursday 10/26 and leaving Friday. More specific info on the hotel and stuff through sparklecon on my info page under coms.
