a fiction challenge?
Sep. 5th, 2005 09:02 pmI'm thinking of starting a challenge.
Using the BPAL descriptions of their masculine scents as the base and Halloween as the deadline.
C'mon, just think of the stories that could come out of some of those descriptions"
Jolly Roger Sea spray with an undercurrent of leather, Bay Rum, and salty, dry woods.
Magus An ancient blend, swollen with arcane power: galangal, high john essence, frankincense, cedar, and sandalwood.
Bluebeard A scent swirling with dark rage, unbridled jealousy, and murderous intent. Violet, lavender, white musk and vetiver.
Fenris Wolf The raw, un-tamable power of chaos. Rosewood, amber, red musk and a dribble of red sandalwood.
It would, of a necessity almost, lend itself towards the angsty/dark and/or AU type of story. And, as I have no webste, I would need to figure out where to put them. And how to do it period. I've never done anything like this.
Ideas? Comments? Help??

And be TOTALLY late for whenever the deadline ends up being, but that's just how my musae work, apparently.

Date: 2005-09-06 06:40 pm (UTC)I also think you should do it as a random description. Like find out how many people will write (or just put a ton of random descriptions in) and pull a description out of the hat for them. They can choose the pairing and you can limit it to sparkly boys or cross over. (Although mmm... sparkly boys) Pick a word limit. (seems like it would need to be at least 1000. Even I couldn't put together a description story in 500 words. And I can put plot and story and ending together in 300.) I don't know about hosting though. Lemme look into a few things.
I would join it.
