Jan. 18th, 2005 04:09 pmSo apparently LJ crashed? How did I miss that?
Today is the first day of my five day vacation. I had plans, man. Only CSI: Season One has not shown up yet. Laundry is also on the plan. other than that, it is Veg Week. I plan on doing NOTHING constructive. For that defeats the purpose of a vacation, as far as I'm concerned.
I HAVE found myself admiting to things in my past. Such as a fantastic threeway many moons ago (the only fun one of four), and giving an ex an eye infection when he didn't duck when I told him to. My privacy switch seems to have been turned off at some point.
I also plan on reading a LOT of fic. I am backed up THREE weeks on Chapter Owl updates. Lord that is gonna hurt. And I have felt an upsurgence in Buffy fandom love on my end. with a corresponding dip in Popslash. Weird. It may have somethign to do with CSI interesting more and more lately and maybe my mind can only hold so many fandoms? Popslash was first, followed by HP then Buffy and LoTRPS. Now CSI. And to a lesser extent Dark is Rising (I squee over Will!).
I also have to fill my iPod. MUST. It's a weakness, I see emtpy shelves on my bookcase, I fill them. Empty slots in my CD stand? I fill them. So forth and so on. I have a problem, I think.
I also feel it may be time to retire my default icon. The one I am using now. I have used it for two years almost and feel a need for change. And I want to change my LJ name. ALthough that is just in the pondering stage. The reason for that is I am playing with a new art program I have (3D - Poser 5) and may want to actually post stuff, and would rather not do that under a name that is basically my real name. We'll see.
And banana sandwiches. I had one today. And realized that people probably make them differetnly. How do YOU make a banana sandwich. I promise to try it out if you tell me. I make mine with mayo. It's tangy yet sweet.
I also need to get signed up for AIM so that I can arrange to play CoH with Josh at some point (I haven't forgotten just been busy until today!)
I wander off now to go turn up the heat. It's -5 fahrenheit right now.
