pointless post
Mar. 21st, 2003 12:13 amThe four hours I listened to CBS News Radio this afternoon took forever to pass.
The following 6 hours listening to 105.5, JYY went like nothing.
Not doing that again anytime soon.

How lame is it that I don't know either safe combination at work, the code to the back door, my parents phone number, my checking account number or the office number at work? But I do know the patterns they all make on the keypad. I hate it when anyone asks for any of those numbers I have to physically move my fingers over a nonexistent keypad to figure them out. And god forbid I end upwith a keypad in the reverse. It completely screws me up.

How hard must it be for someone who speaks one language to learn another language well enough to understand their slang and humor?
This paragraph in Christopher Moore's Lamb made me ponder. After laughing for a while.
This book is a riot. And quite eye opening when it comes to the subjects it touhes on. Really makes you think about things. In a weird round-a-bout way, of course. What else can you expect from the author of Practical Demonkeeping of which I think the demon actually appears in this book, Bloodsucking Fiends and the Lust Lizard book.

OOH! And look at the GIP! It's for my other fandom and made me laugh hystericaly.
there are ones for Buffy here and a crapload of Smallville here, and finally the Harry Potter ones here. There have to be LOTR, NSYNC and BSB (or RPS) out there somewhere. Any one?

I've tried to get the angel to watch MTV so I can learn the vocabulary of your music, but even with the gift of tongues, I'm having trouble learning to speak hip-hop. Why is it that one can busta rhyme or busta move anywhere but you must busta cap in someone's ass? Is "ho" always feminine, and "muthafucka" always masculine, while "bitch" can be either? How many peeps in a posse, how much booty before baby got back, do you have to be all that to get all up in that, and do I need to be dope and phat to be da bomb or can I just be "stupid"?
