lincolnkwYou have to love stores that break street dates on CDs. I have the new movie soundtrack version of The Phantom of the Opera. The Special Edition. I like it.
A lot.
The Phantom's voice is dark and wonderful, Christine has the pipes although she does occasionally not go where she needs to, Raoul isn't bad - very American. Minnie Driver plays the diva Carlotta and is dubbed by a trained operatic soprano as Minnie is neither. Minnie does get the closing credits song, written especially for the movie release.
I so want to see this.
