My computer seems to be working again.

*dances*

I stripped this thing down, wiped it, reinstalled most everything and I think it's working again. Of course I thought this the other day, but it's been stable now for a few hours so I feel relatively confident. I actually managed to get online a few times in the last couple of weeks but I crashed within fifteen minutes.

Anybody miss me? What's happened? What's new? Any fandom news?

So what did I do for the last, three weeks? Worked. Read lots. Watched many movies. Listened to many Cast Albums. E-mailed Pam through work e-mail (it helps working for the same company). Cleaned. Worked more. Came to fandom realizations - shall post later about those.

So.

Should I even attempt to catch up on weeks worth of posts or just go from here? Shall of course check the fiction journals to see what I missed.

I do have a few fandom related comments: Moulin Rouge is so made for JC to play Christian. Joey needs to join the cast of Wicked as Fyero. Orlando is pretty but bland. Dom is hotness incarnate. Howie and Christina need to play the leads in Bye Bye Birdie. I need to win the lottery and produce Broadway benefits with Sparkly casts. There needs to be a fic with JC as Elphaba, Justin as Glinda, Lance as Fyero, and Chris as the Wizard (see above for actual casting wish). BSB needs to tour New England. I think Draco is going to be the one killed in HP 6 causing the Houses to team together as the Sorting Hat wishes. Either he, a Weasley parent, Snape or Dumbledore. The Half-Blood Prince is going to be Voldemort. Matthew Time and Sucker - OMG!!!

There's been some great reports and pictures (including some great Howie/Nick *g*), plus way more bootleg clips than I'd thought we'd get :)

I just read "The Silver Chalice" and want to throttle Justin and Lance for their immaturity and endangering the poor Joshua.

Haven't started the sequel yet.

And the dialogue in that reminded me very much of dialogue from "Guys and Dolls", it had the sams style and flow. Cool.

Thanks! That whole story was supposed to be a Lance/Justin story, but JC/Chris seemed to have dominated it. Of course Justin and Lance are young and Justin, being the owner, doesn't often consider much about the others. He's still growing and learning, though. :)

OK, you went and mentioned TrickC, and now I'm all intrigued.

Is this story available to the public? (or, y'know, #1 Lobster-Fan me, at least? *w*)

For you, of course it's available! ;)

It's sort of a Romanesque, slave fic.
The Silver Chalice (http://www.geocities.com/jaciesplace/silvermain.html) and the unfinished sequel, The Chariot Race (http://www.geocities.com/jaciesplace/racemain.html).

THANK YOU!!! :D

Eeeeeee, For Me?

TrickC for me?

*twirls*

You're so wonderful! (feeding my addiction and all...)

Thanks So Much!

*SQUEEEEEEE!*

Oh, that was fantabulous.

Except for where fate kept slapping JC down, even after everything looked wonderful, heh. Though I am SUPER appreciative of the fact that Mistress Lynn's finding TrickC *could* have been a horrid, horrid thing, and actually ended up being one of the best things to happen to them. Bravo.

Now I'm just worried abuot JC on his own in the arena, and the fact that he and Chris don't seem like they'll EVER actually get together. C'mon! Update! Have the Lobsters educate the Lambs! Wheeeee!!

I lurve it, lots lots lots. :D

Thanks so much! I'm glad you're enjoying it. There will be more to come. I wrote the first 6 chapters in June, then got too busy to write much. I'm back at it now, so hopefully it'll be updated often throughout the fall.

School goes well -- or as well as you can expect a startup to go. Lots of uncertainty, which lies on top of a solid layer of sound educational practice and a strong faculty and student body. Many ups and downs, but I'm slowly learning to roll with the downs as they come and go.

yes, and stupidly I already had it bookmarked to read, just in the sorted section instead of the "to read" section.

Call me idiot boy.

Which just confuses me.

Not so long ago, I wrote an AU based on Moulin Rouge. JC was Ewan's part, Justin was Nicole. Chris owned the theater, Lance was the duke, and Chris was the little artist guy.
