Thirty-six. 36. Three. Six.
Aug. 21st, 2004 11:33 pmIs that considered mid-thirties or late-thirties?
Either way I still don't like it. When did I even leave my twenties??
In half an hour it will officially be Howie's birthday, and then 24 hours after that, mine. My mother was not amused when she realized how old I was turning. As this meant she was now 60. Heh. She's been ignoring this whole month.
I was going to treat myself to a new Nvidia Geforce 5600 videocard for my birthday, but realized that will half to wait till mid September due to funds and the mad catching up I had to do on two months worth of music, movies and comics. And games. No toys though.
Heh, budget the luxuries first as Lazarus Long says.
This is a slightly angsty post, isn't it? I had this whole Hogwarts/Popslash idea percolating based on the fact the Justin, Christina and Britney are the same age as Harry, Ron & Hermione accordingto Rowling's timleine. So I naturally meshed the two fandoms together and have been playing with sparkly singers, spells, Houses and Quidditch in my mind. I may have also added Tim (Robin) and various other fandoms into the mix, Buffy, LOTRPS and other comic stuff into the mix.
Idle minds are the devil's playground. Fun, too!
On a musical note, Tim MCGraws new CD is really entertaining! Drugs Or Jesus, Kill Myself, Do You Want Fries With That and How Bad Do You Want It all make for an interesting mix.

Date: 2004-08-22 06:41 am (UTC)I feel your pain on the "leaving the twenties" thing. The saying "You are only as old as you feel" is my mantra of late.
I feel 25 ish,so I'm staying there. hehe. It's only 9 years younger than my actual age..that's not bad..I can shave off 10 and still be ok right? Everyone says 40 is the year where it bothers you but for me it was definately 30, I couldn't believe I was 30 years old.
Idle minds are the devil's playground.
mm...I so agree!

Date: 2004-08-22 08:28 pm (UTC)Crap, this reminds me that I turn thirty SEVEN in a few weeks. Fortunately, school should be cranking in overdrive by then, so hopefully I won't notice.
