The correct answer to the questtion about the last photo, as I told Lincoln, is that Howie was practicing in case Lnce ever did go into space and refused to come back. Howie just wanted to be ready in case he had to go up there and bring him back, himself. Shirtless, of course, that's a requirement.

What is happening in that last picture, is he is filming a scene from "Larger Than Life" for the video. Remember the boxes they were in at the beginning of the video? All of them were shirtless, but they zipped past it too fast!
