Since [livejournal.com profile] bachelor_girl beat me to the pucnh with the crossovery love I will give you fic recs to go along with her pictures.

First Chance Came By, by Arsenic. Co-starring a kitten.

None of the guys were all that surprised when JC begged off of going out with them after the concert. He wasn't much for clubbing to begin with and since finding Iowa, he was much more interested in playing with her for an hour or so before crashing than getting mildly drunk and grinding with whoever was available. Howie refused the offer too, fending off Chris's most aggressive persuasion techniques and Lance's smooth psychological maneuverings. He ended up back at the hotel, across the bed from a freshly washed JC. They both folded their legs up into pretzels and allowed Iowa to wander in and out of the makeshift jungle gym of limbs.

And Pictures Of Another Time by BG herself. Flashback to Euroboys.

At the sight of the next photo, Howie’s breath caught audibly in his throat. It was the same fountain, but from a different angle. The person in this photo was smiling and laughing as he stood in the water at the base of the fountain, pants rolled up to his knees, and arms raised above his head in an attempt to imitate the pose of the figure in the statue.

Even back then, JC Chasez had been undeniably beautiful and breathtakingly photogenic.

There you go.

Sorry. ::blushes:: I did that to [livejournal.com profile] erilyn yesterday... I'm not doing it on prurpose, I swear.

Now, if only I could use my powers of premonition for something useful, like lottery numbers....

Thank you for the rec. I forget other people have actually read that story, sometimes. :-) I thought about it for so long that I often forget I actually got around to writing it.

That story holds me captive each time I read it, the inevitability of Lou ruining things was just so sad. And the thought that they would just let it go and never try again was just too bleak.

The part with Chris gave hope and then was culminated in the final section.

Woo hoo!!
