oh good lord.
May. 28th, 2004 12:38 pmIn my search for Harry Potter AUs of him as a child, I ran across this website.
How stupid are people??
Apparently, very.
Hermes is a real demon? Draco is a real demon? People can ACTUALLY turn into animals with spells? Good lord, have some common sense.
Back to looking for said stories, any help would be appreciated.

I was a Bible-studying Christian for 5 years, and I can safely say that the Harry Potter books are NOT "Satanic". Yeesh. Yes, the bible teaches witchcraft is a sin, and there are some dodgy issues concerning all of that, but these are novels. Works of FICTION. They're hardly "instruction manuals", and oh, gee, Yes, they DO depict classroom scenes! So all I have to do is go get a fancy wooden stick and point it at something and say gibberish as it's spelt in siad novels, and oh the horror! I'll be doing MAGIC!
*rolls eyes*
I've studied some occultism, too. The movie "The Craft" is a helluva a lot closer than the Harry Potter books. Yeesh.
