apartment problem seems to be fixed

She is moving out as I type. Her dad is here and she is packing stuff up. I have no idea what she's told her parents and I'm staying out of it. She is leaving a coffee table and her bed behind so that's actually sort of cool. I can move the bed into my room and move the futom out to the living room for seating. She's "promised" to pay her utilities to date on Friday, I'm actually not going to hold my breathe about that.

So.

I'm staying here, and my rent doubles. Acceptable. I can handle this to October. I may have someone move in, I may not. Probably not. Will just have to cut back on spending. I have already done my budget through the beginning of October and it looks (crossing my fingers) as though I'll have plenty to move with. Sadly, will be cutting back on music, movie and comic purchases. That really bites. I'm all about entertainment.

Also, have finished watching the Matrix trilogy . I really liked that. The ending was al l"huh?" and weird but overall it was good. Very messianic there at the end. Is Neo God now?? And how will the oh, so vindictive human race react to the peace and the machines? Hmmm. I liked it.

Will now watch the Ma and Pa Kettle series that has been released to DVD finally. I love those movies, Marjorie Main in particular.

I'm all hungry now, and they're in the kitchen packing things up. I can wait.

Glad the apartment thing is working out for you. I sympathize, because I'm smack in the middle of an apartment hunt right now myself. Even though it's all gonna turn out OK, right now I'm wishing that I had bit the bullet and shelled out the bucks to hire a rental agent to do all this &^(%^(% searching for me.
