OK, so life is boring right now. It's too cold to actually go do anything outside of work, which I wouldn't go to except that money is a nice thing. Things are not fun right now over there. We are down two supervisors, sales have plummeted due to the extremely cold weather, the staff is unhappy because we have to send them home when it gets this slow, my manager forgets that she has told us things and then yells when we do them.

The last is really annoying, she is doing the exact same thing we all left our old store for, only she's actually doing it worse. He used to just forget to tell us things, she's forgeting to tell us things AND forgets things that are told to her. I learned quickly (the others are just now realizing this): if it is in any way important - e-mail it to her. That way if she forges you can prove things.

If I came into some serious money right now I would be out so quick. I'd probably leave on the spot except I'm the only one in the store who knows how to do payroll. Hmmm, convenient,that.

You know what type of fic I'd REALLY like to see? I've mentioned this to xoverau, who is very lucky she closed her request post, I really want a Mondo-Crossovery-Fic-O-Doom. Popslash/LotRPS/HP/Highlander/X-Men/Teen Titans/X-Files/Buffy crossover. Featuring: Howie, Lance, Chris, JC, Nick, Aaron, Dominic, Elijah, Draco, the McCloud from the TV series who's name I forget, Iceman, Angel, Gambit, Nightwing, Tempest, Scully (what? I like her, just not sexually), Oz, Xander, and Spike. With AJ, Kevin, Orlando, Harry Potter, Hermione, Arsenal, Robin, Jean Grey, Willow and Buffy all making guest appearances.

Yes, this would sort of have to be comedic. Or weirdly philosophical. And certainly wouldn't be short.

What can I say, I'm bored.

And, since I'm feeling my age lately, howzabout Kevin, Howie & Chris (the elder statesmen ofthe groups) all commiserating together, humorously, of course, about their all being over 30 now. And JC realizing he's almost there.

That I would love to read. I turn 30 in a few weeks and though I'm not dreading it or anything I'm not happy about it either. There's nothing like sharing your pain with a bunch of sparkly boys *g*
