Eee!!! Photos! Of me! And my hair!

Thanks to saabira for the link to Photbucket to get me off my ass to do this, she doesn't know it but this is going to be all her fault.

Now, keep in mind I have a crappy digital camera, it was free with the computer so who am I to argue. And the first pic is small. The second large, the third just right. How Three Bears of me.

The first step was to bleach it, I kept this for one day, people at work were surprised.



Then I went blue, this took two tries and I was still unhappy with the way it turned out, I wanted it DARK blue. Which I eventually did, just in time for Boston. Hopefully someone has pictures ofthis as I didn't take any in the rush.




The goattee makes me extremely happy.

Wow. My face is round. Enraged didn't work out so hot so I went Manic Panic and blow-dried it in before rinsing. Now, after three (?) weeks it's started growing out a bit. I had someone describe it to me "as a gas burner on my head."

Ya know, I think he may be right.

And I love the reactions, a lot of people loved the colr, remember it's now dark blue, and are impressed with the goattee. Kid's love it. I keep hearing "Mommy, he has BLUE hair! Why?" and then I smile and keep working.

Eeee! Blue hair! I may do it again for Challenge. And I've had many people say it makes me look younger. So whoo hoo for that!

I had a hard time getting mine dark, too. Took another application two weeks later to get a color I liked. I used RAW both times, my sister told me not to use Manic Panic.

"Mommy, he has BLUE hair! Why?"
I get that too, except they usually say "she".
Do people ask to touch it? So many people have asked to touch mine since it went blue.
Mine is growing out enought that there are visible brown roots, then just a tiny bit of bleached hair where the blue didn't thake, then the blue. I'm considering chopping it off short and being mutlicolored until it grows back out into my natualr grey and brown.

No one has asked to touch it. I think that may be because I'm a big guy to most people, 6'1" and 215# so I have a tendency to intimidate. Especially as I have a tendency to look anoyed at work.

This is a small town so a lot of people do doubletakes. It's quite amusing.

Yeah. I've contemplated cutting it down as well, also have thought about touching it up or dying it another color just to see what happens. Wil probably just cut it short soon.
