You're an Anna Russell fan?????????? How cool is that??????? I love her stuff...notably her Wagner pastiche and her version of how to build a Gilbert and Sullivan operetta.

the Ring Cycle and the Gilbert & Sullivan thing are my favorites, but I have this real fondness for How To Enjoy Your Bagpipe from the WindInstruments I Have Known bit.

I discovered her in college, I think. On LP. then found a video of one of her shows a few years ago. SHe and PDQ Bach are my favorite parodists of classical music. Prof. Schickele's version of The Abduction of Figaro is one of my favorite shows ever.

can I admit to loving Rusty Warren, Tom Lehrer and Allan Sherman as well?

I swear my parents warped my growing up. I spent my childhood listening to Herb Alpert, 50s comedians/parodists, Roger Whittaker and country music.

Heh.

The scarf thing, try and hit me up in the next few nights on MSN: lincolnkw if I can get it to work. Or just call me at work before 4. 603.357.7667

Gah! I'm too young to be able to name 50 albums, lol. However, I *adore* RHPS Cast Recording, I love it a million times more then the film version. It's my favorite hype-me-up CD! Excellent show choices, too :) Noticed my personal favorite Rent wasn't there- not a fan?

I like Rent, it's just not up there for me. Not sure why, really. And RHPS is a blast. Tis new version is phenomenal, much etter than the original. I was in a group years ago that performed it at the Midnight Shows. We were called Sins Of The Flesh. I was part ofthat group from 14 to 21. Started as a Transylvanian when I was 15 and worked my way through Dr. Scott and Brad before becoming Frank N Furter for a glorious four months. there are pictures out there somewhere of me in Rocky drag. Sadly, I don't own any. Strangely enough I have very few pictures of me since I graduated High School. they all belong to other people.

Aw- that's awsome! I'm more into directing and stage managing myself, we have a midnight group up here somewhere, I've just never gotten involved, I'm crazy busy as it is- but awsome! You must have rocked hard ;) My friend was Brad at the local shows up here.

It surprised the hell out of everybody that my parents were OK with it, especially at 14 when I brought my brother, who was 13.

We both became regulars.

You know, that just might explain a lot.
