Why this background? I use a changer so it was randomly on my screen. I have to admit though, it is my prefered default. Lance in a kilt. Mmmmmm. I also like the Hal Sparks kilt one. I need a Jessie to complete the collection. And I'm partial to dark backgrounds, I am susceptible to bright lights and looking at light things have a tendnecy to give me headaches.

Why is my toolbar where it is? because that's where it started and I have no reason to change it.

Why are things on my toolbar that are? Again with the laziness. They just are.

What are my icons? Programs I use at least semi occasionally. Games, Music, My Docs, ISP and internet things, art stuff so forth and so on. My icons are on the side they are because of this wallpaper. So all other wallpapers have to be used with this layout in consideration. I flip some and can't use others. I really should shrinkthe icons. This is the one all others are measured against. I think it was made by tallories but I could be wrong.

not happy

I got a phone call from my landlady tonight. It seems as though the last three checks my roommate has sent in have bounced. Luckily we pay our rent seperately, but it's still of the bad. My landlady has called her, left messages, slipped notes under the door, none of which I have been told about until this phone call. And, apparently, none of which she has responded to. It's a smallish privately owned complex. She just wants the rent paid up, luckily she likes me loads and doesn't want to kick us out. If my roommate goes, she won't miss her too much. I will, I could afford the rent on this place for maybe two months. And the couch and dinette set are hers. And she's really nice. We also work together so it makes it even more annoying.

So. The rommate is not home right now, she's probably out partying. Again. I will be waking her up in the morning and making her ass take me to the bank so we can get a Cashiers Check so I can send off the rent and know it will be safe. Then we will be sitting down and having a conversation. She has never really lived in an apartment before. I have. She does not know what steps can be taken when someone does not pay their rent. I do. If it's your parents, they bitch and moan. If it's a complex they start eviction proceedings after 15 days. She will be in fear by the time I am done talking to her.

I am so not appreciative of the fact that she has known, for three months, that this is a problem. I found out tonight.



On a happier note, bachelor_girl The CD came today! It is truly of the wonderful. I'm part way through it and am loving every song.
