Missed the Oscars. Again. This is seriously the second year in a row where I looked at the list of nominees and realized I hadn't seen a single one of them.
I am falling way behind on my movie watching, it used to be I'd go the movies with friends every Sunday and myself on Tuesday. Of course that was in a city that had two theeaters with 15 screens each, and one with 20. Here we have one theater with 4. That and the whole vision thing and not driving anymore puts a little crimp in the plans.
Eminem has an Oscar now. For a song. Poor poor SDBs, I sort of wonder what they think about that.
Chocolate. Mmmmm.

testiculo. I kept seeing his name bandied about in various other LJs and finally caved in and snooped at his jornal. Vastly amused.
Apparently I did not do the 10 Things That Turn Me OnI survey

OOH!minnie0612! If you come by this week don't make it Friday or Saturday. It's Educator Apreciation and is going to be a fucking ZOO. Try to come earlier, the kids department will be decimated otherwise with obnoxiousness abounding.

Overheard one of the girls at work ranting to someone about the fact she's not doing so hot in her classes as she's working full-time, but has to work full-time to pay for her classes. I don't miss that conundrum. I hit 18 and the only thing my parents paid for was the food in the house and the upkeep on the vehicle. Everything else was up to me to find the funds for so I worked FT for my entire college experience until I finally left my junior year. i really should go back.
Can this get ANY longer? Probably.
I find it extremely humorous, in a twisted way, that The Dixie Chick's single has only dropped two spots, but their album has stayed where it was with sales actually going up a bit on the Pop charts. Which is going to be a moot point as of tomorrow when Celine's CD comes out. *shudders* We are going to have to play that thing in the store everyday for the next couple of weeks.
