silence was golden

i'm back.

A couple of fandom tings first.

The newest Issuce of Spin magazine is their "List Issue", it's cute.

I may have snorted when I read this.

And the current issue of Dance Spirit has an article on Wade Robson, cover picture too. Interesting comments. The interview was apparently conducted back in December. JC showed him around New York and took him shopping. he has Britney, JC & Micahel Jackson on his speed dial on his cell. He NEVER smiles in any picture I have ever seen. He has nice forearms and hipbones. He is directing a feature film for Disney. OK.

So.

Funeral stuff. It went fine. Spent the first night at the viewing seeing alot of people I didn't know and being the xookeeper for my neices and nephew for most of the night. Couldn't sleep AT ALL that night as I was stuck in a room with no fan, no music and it was too hot. The funeral service was interesting. I have never attended a Mormon funeral before. Not bad, bad hymn singing. Found out that when my Nana did her family history she sent it in tothe Mormon Church Archives and they proceededto consecrate and baptise-in-absentia everyone in the book. How nice. They excommunicate the family in the 70s and readmit them in the new century. Nice. I didn't ask them to do this. Eh. The wake afterwards was REALLY interesting. Spent the entire night with a cousin asking, "who is that? Am I related? How?" I think I annoyed her. Good food. We didn't stay too long.

Returned to work to see 15 managers learning Loss Prevention/Audit stuff, heard rumblings about yet another restructuring ans upcoming survey. You know, I'm really starting to wish I worked elsewhere. this company is getting more and more corporate.

Bitchiness is over now. Will go read e-mails. Oh, yes, I haven't gone back and read more than skip=180 and that took me back to yeasterday morning, so I may have missed things. Sorry all, anything interesting happen?

So I'm in the store getting soda and chips for video night and I glance over to the tabloid display.

I start loudly laughing. The clerk looks at me strange and I tell her you had to be there.

Saddam Hussein on the cover of one of them. With his little hat. And a rifle. Wearing a housedress.

This is much funnier if you read ianmcduff's recent Very Secret Diary of Saddam Hussein post.

I was giggling like a madman by the first Wednesday.

On another subject:
