home again home again jiggety jig
Feb. 27th, 2003 08:00 pmjust spent the last two days at my sisters house while she and her hubby spend some alone time together. I love my neices, I wisah I could spend more time with them, they are so much like their mother. They all have the same strong, take no crap attitude. Twisted senses of humor and everything. They're only 10 & 11. it's cute.
They convinced me to play some console game with spies and guns, basically a shootemup. I sucked, thay both kicked my ass and called me Sad Sad Uncle Lincoln. They wanted me to take it home and practice, but no. I don't particularly like shoot-em ups. I'm all about the RPG games.
Speaking of RPG games, how sad is it that when I discovered I could create and play Baldur's gate with all six characters created by me I was extremely happy? Very sad.
Work. I return tomorrow from days off, just in time to remerchandise the whole music & movie departments in one weekend. We have a crapload of managers coming in on Wednesday for Audit School. Joy. They will be looking for stuff that's wrong. More joy.

minnie0612 apparently has a copy of the Grammys for me. I just have to figure out how to get it.
Kare's CDs are coming along, I stil figure it will take me another week, about half the way through my own CDs to find the right stuff. that's a crapload of CDs. And I keep finding stuff I want to put on new mixes. I have stuff I haven't listened to in ages. I'm talking a year or more, if not three or four.
I bought more DVDs. Color Purple (which I'm watching right now, I love this movie), the NSYNC music video one (lame, although it is nice to have crystal clear versions of these. And where is the Celebrity DVD?), MBFGW (cute) and Brotherhood of the Wolf (which I haven't seen yet).
Off to check my e-mail and catch up more on LJ.
