Great, now I find myself humming these words at odd times. Elton John now equals bondage and underage sex.

I miss Rudy de la Mor, he did this phenomenal rendition of "Chopsticks," the regular version, a Sousa, a Bach, AaJoplin, and str8 girl, str8 boy, lesbian, gay boy. Hee. If you're ever in Orange County, CA call Ozz Supperclub in Buena Park (I think), a gay club/restaurant/cabaret and see if he's performing. It's really, really worth it. Just prepare to be embarassed. Ask if he'll do "Chopsticks" and "Do-Re-Mi."

And don't say I didn't warn you.

Ooh, and Buffy Season 3, Oz Season 2, To Wong Foo and Much Ado About Nothing all come out on DVD tomorrow, the later two in inexpensive versions. So does Robert Jordan's 10th Wheel of Time book. Happiness. Must stick to budget.

Ten quirks of mine

1. I like banana and mayo sandwiches.

2. I can't sleep unless there is a fan on in the room.

2. I like my apartment COLD. We're talking 55-60 degrees average.

3. I can't fall asleep very easily unless there is music playing in the background.

4. I have an extremely high sex drive, must have an orgasm at least every other day or I get irritable. Really.

5. I am gay but I like women better than men, for the most part, as friends. There are exceptions but usually women are my closest friends. Lesbians, too.

6. I enjoy reading kids books. Picture books, Intermediate readers, early readers, love 'em.

7. I used to own every episode of the Animaniacs on tape, I was in my mid-20s at the time.

8. I am the worlds worst procrastinator at home, at work I do things long before they're due.

9. I do not, nor have I owned, a suit or a pair of dress slacks for the last five years. I HATE getting dressed up, unless it's in my own style. I even wore jeans and hiking boots to my brother's wedding. I told them they were lucky I wasn't wearing sandles.

10. I have a weakness for accents. Oh, that southern drawl. *whew* And Autralian.


Hmmmm, I just thought of something. In my immediate family of 8 (2 parents, six kids) there have been a total of 8 marriages and 4 divorces between 6 people, only me and my youngest sister have so far escaped.

Dad: 1 marriage
Mom: 2 marriages, 1 divorce:
Sister: 2 marriages, 1 divorce
Brother: 2 marriages, 1 divorce
Me: 0 for both
Brother: 1 marriage
Sister: 1 marriage, 1 divorce
Sister: 0 for both

Apparently, even as a cartoon I am gay.

I am screwed tomorrow, I've gotten used to staying up til 3 or 4am every night, I now have to be at work tomorrow at 7am. Screwed, I tell you, screwed.

And I finally managed to DL an mpg of JC's Blowin' Me Up (or is it She's Blowing Me Up?) It is hot and to squee for.

On the topic of squee, I finally got my copies of Johnny The Homicidal Maniac: Director's Cut and Squee's Wonderful Big Giant Book of Unspeakable Horrors back from one of the girls at work. She only had them for 3 months.

Has anyone else heard of Anna Russell? I love her, she's a riot. A classically trained vocalist who became a comedienne. She does this analysis of The Ring Cycle that's a complete laugh. the only opera I've ever actually heard. I don't like not understanding what's being said. I'm more a ballet person. She does all the various parts, themes and all, and in only 20 minutes or so. She also explains how to write your own Gilbert and Sullivan opera. Even sings a duet with herself, and a trio.

Going to attempt to get some slepp now, and then I'll try to reply to a couple of posts that LJ annoyed me with not being able to do so. That made NO sense, did it?
